I hope you’ve all had a lovely week, full of love and laughter. I’d also like to thank you all for the love and support shown in my blog posts and YouTube Videos. Your love keeps me going … Tears…
If you saw my last post, you would have also seen my opinion about the lack of colour and versatility in our clothing outlets these days. Tbh; this winter has been particularly interesting for me because of my ardent love and passion for colour.
The winter season has been dominated by greys, whites, nudes and blacks – Let’s just say everything monochrome; and people have done so well sticking to this trend or should I call it ‘theme’. Like I mentioned last time, apart from my school uniform during my schooldays, I don’t remember ever doing so well sticking to a theme until now, and for that, this girl right here needs a high five or at least a thumbs up…
This time I’ve gone for blush tones… ‘BLUSH TONES FOR DAYS!’… I’ve had this long silk top for close to 9 years now. It’s been in my closet and although it is very beautiful, I’ve just never found a way to wear it because I’m not used to wearing blush tones and I was so happy I was able to pull this look off. YAYY! for exploring and trying new things, otherwise, this top would still have been buried somewhere in my closet and thank goodness I never got rid of it like the ‘thousands of clothes that never make the final cut each time I clean out my closet.
I decided to pair this silk top with wide denim pants and of course my nude Loubs (Pigalles). Sticking to the theme, I also went with a nude puffer jacket and brown Guess Tote bag. I just wanted to keep it simple. In one of my upcoming posts, I’ll be showing you another ‘Nude/Blush Tones’ winter look. I hope you loved this look. Please let me know what you think by leaving some comments down below and just let me know what you think about my outfit and how you’re handling this season’s trend.
