Monochrome Spring

Hello Family and Friends,

How are we all doing? I hope you’ve had a lovely week.

Let me start by saying, black and white are the two colours slowly dominating my wardrobe although I’m a colour fanatic. These colours are timeless and always in season; so you can wear them all-year-round trust me.

With this in mind, I decided to put together a relatively simple outfit and wanted the look to speak for itself. I wore a black cape, black knitted top and a front-slit skirt. First I decided to keep the outfit very simple and paired it with striped black and white pumps and no accessories at all.

For some reason, I felt like there was something missing, so I decided to accessorise the look and also changed the shoes. Now looking back, I think I regret tempering with my first look… I don’t know, I’m just confused, but I think I love the first look better… What do you think?

I know it’s Spring on this side of the world and it’s the season we should all be embracing and wearing colour, but I find there’s just something special about a monochrome look.

As always “Be creative, be fashion forward…”

This outfit is so elegant and versatile. I love the flexibility to be able to wear it at various occasions. You can’t really go wrong in black and white. The cape blazer is currently trending and it’s a timely post for the beautiful Spring weather. Great work Angie❤️
